Rooms and suites

Rooms start at about 38 square meters and run up to a 137-square-meter Poolhouse and the 197-square-meter Presidential Suite. Most rooms look over Lumphini Park, and park-view rooms are the ones most often requested.

Restaurants and bars

Jǐng serves Sichuan and Cantonese dishes and dim sum, Andaz Terrace is the casual all-day restaurant, and Piscari, on the 23rd floor, moves from Mediterranean dining by day to a cocktail bar with a speakeasy feel at night.

Pool and fitness

The saltwater infinity pool on the seventh floor faces the park and is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The fitness center shares the same views.

Meetings and events

The 380-square-meter Andaz Ballroom holds up to 300 guests and has floor-to-ceiling windows and a large LED wall, and two smaller Atelier rooms suit board meetings.

Getting there

Lumphini MRT station connects directly to One Bangkok. From Suvarnabhumi Airport, a taxi takes roughly 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic; the Airport Rail Link to Makkasan, then the MRT to Lumphini, avoids the expressway at rush hour.

Who it suits

Andaz is a good fit for couples, younger travelers and design lovers who want a newer hotel with a sense of place and a lively evening scene at Piscari. Families will find park-view rooms and the infinity pool appealing, though there is no dedicated children's pool. Lumphini Park is right outside for early-morning runs, and Silom's restaurants and night markets are one MRT stop south at Si Lom. The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok is a neighbor in the same district if you want to compare the two.

Before you book

Check-in starts at 3 p.m. Pets are not allowed, though service animals are welcome. Valet and self-parking are available, with self-parking on basement levels two and three. World of Hyatt points apply.
