MRT Kamphaeng Phet is the closest station to the market. MRT Chatuchak Park is one stop away and shares its location with BTS Mo Chit, which makes it the natural place to change between the two systems. If you are staying near an MRT station, for example in Silom, around Sukhumvit (via MRT Sukhumvit) or in Chinatown, the Blue Line takes you there without a change. BTS Mo Chit is on the Sukhumvit Line, which runs up from Sukhumvit and Siam past Victory Monument toward Chatuchak Park, according to the BTS's own route description. From Siam the ride is direct with no change, which makes the BTS the easiest option from the central shopping district and most Sukhumvit hotels.
By taxi
A taxi or app ride works too, but weekend traffic around the market can be heavy, especially in the late afternoon. The rail stations are usually quicker.
