Bangkok Music City (BMC) is a two-day music conference and showcase festival, back on January 30 and 31, 2027 on stages spread through the Charoenkrung Creative District. Entry to the showcase gigs is free, but everyone needs to register in the BMC app first.

The festival's aim is to put emerging Asian acts in front of fans and industry. The 2026 edition drew about 16,000 people to 86 artists from 16 countries on eight stages.

Who is playing

Early names announced for 2027 include Thai acts Apichat Pakwan, "BANK" Sornram, DharmaDance, GYMV, JPBS, Mongkol, Montonn Jira, Rejizz, Sounds of Future Siam and srwks., plus Aurus, Grrrl Gang, KAGAMI, Mitsune, My Anh, The Colors and The Filters from abroad. More acts and the stage list are still to come.

How to get in

• Download the Bangkok Music City app and choose Register for Free Entry to get a personal QR code, for one day or both.
• Scan in and out at each stage. Screenshots are not accepted.
• Registration does not guarantee a place at every stage; full rooms admit people from the queue as others leave.

Getting there

The organizers recommend public transport: MRT to Hua Lamphong, Exit 1. Parking exists around the area, but the organizers advise against driving.

Good to know

Under-20s can attend but cannot buy alcohol, and the event is not recommended for children under 12 because the areas are standing only. Professional cameras, tripods and large tablets are not allowed.
