Sound of the Seasons is the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra's family holiday concert, on Sunday, December 20, 2026 at 7:30 pm in the Main Hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre. Sander Teepen conducts, and mezzo-soprano Maria Fiselier is the guest vocalist. The RBSO pitches it as a concert of well-known holiday music to see in Christmas and the New Year with the whole family.

Program

The orchestra lists a set of seasonal favorites, including Feliz Navidad, It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Last Christmas, Silent Night, It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Jingle Bell Rock, Let It Snow!, Joy to the World and Winter Wonderland, among others.

The soloist

Maria Fiselier is a mezzo-soprano who has sung opera and concert repertoire across Europe.

Getting there

The Thailand Cultural Centre is on Thiam Ruam Mit Road in Huai Khwang, beside the MRT station that shares its name, which is the simplest way to arrive for an evening concert.

More December music

The week before, on December 13, the same hall hosts a free Christmas Messiah by the Bangkok Combined Choir and Orchestra. For a longer outing, the Vijit Chao Phraya river light festival is expected to run until December 13.
