Conrad Bangkok
About
Conrad Bangkok is part of the All Seasons Place complex on Wireless Road, and its distinction is the space around the tower rather than the view from the top: a tropical outdoor pool set among gardens, tennis and pickleball courts lit for evening play, a children's playground and a rooftop garden where the kitchens grow herbs and vegetables. The hotel has 391 rooms and suites, plus serviced residences for longer stays.
It suits families, long-stay business travelers and anyone who wants a resort-style base in the middle of the city. The hotel runs a free shuttle to BTS Phloen Chit, a few minutes away, which links to the Siam shopping malls, and Lumphini Park and Benjakitti Park are both nearby.
Rooms and suites
Rooms have contemporary decor with Thai design accents and floor-to-ceiling windows, and selected high-floor rooms have windows on two sides. Families can book the Deluxe Family Room for five or the Premium Family Suite for six, and the suites run up to the Terrace Suite and the Presidential Suite. Executive rooms and suites use the Executive Lounge on the 29th floor, with breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and private check-in. Children aged 18 and under stay free in their parents' room.
7th Heaven
The seventh floor is given over to wellness. Seasons Spa has 11 themed treatment rooms, a Japanese tub and a steam room, and the BodyWorx fitness center has a yoga studio, a sauna and a steam room. Outside are the pool and a temperature-controlled whirlpool, a sun deck, the courts and the playground, and the hotel also offers childcare.
Conrad 1/3/5 and events
Conrad's 1/3/5 program suggests Bangkok itineraries of one, three or five hours, and its Conrad Moments are one-hour sessions inside the hotel, including free fitness classes every morning and afternoon, workshops and cooking classes. For events there are 22 meeting and conference rooms and a pillarless ballroom with a large LED screen, and weddings can include engagement, monk and Thai water-pouring ceremonies.
Restaurants and bars
The hotel runs five restaurants and bars, and room service is available 24 hours.
Liu, on level three, is the Cantonese restaurant, led by Hong Kong-born executive Chinese chef Andy Fung. Lunch centers on all-you-can-eat dim sum, and dinner on à la carte dishes including BBQ specialties and a Hong Kong-style roast Peking duck that is air-dried for 24 hours before roasting in a hanging oven. The restaurant recommends booking ahead.
Kisara, on the same floor, serves Japanese food at art deco sushi and teppanyaki counters and in a private dining room, with kaiseki set dinners, a sake list and a ten-course lobster omakase at the sushi counter on Friday and Saturday nights.
Café@2 serves the breakfast buffet of Asian and Western dishes from open kitchens. City Terrace is the tropical-themed restaurant between the gardens and the pool, with healthy dishes by day and tiki-style cocktails. Diplomat Bar, on level one, is built around a large round bar, with cocktails, a wine collection, fresh pastries in the morning, afternoon tea and live music in the evenings.
