Rosewood Bangkok
About
Rosewood Bangkok is the angular 30-story tower on Phloen Chit Road whose shape is drawn from the wai, the Thai greeting made with pressed palms, and the hotel carries that idea inside. Thai culture is part of the program rather than decoration: a cooking class with the chef everyone calls Mama Bua, half-day walks through Songwat, which the hotel calls Bangkok's oldest neighborhood, and a speakeasy holding more than 6,000 vinyl records.
It suits travelers who want the Skytrain on their doorstep without the street-level walk, because the hotel connects directly to Exit 1 of Ploenchit BTS station. It also works for food-focused trips and couples, and for families, who get a dedicated children's program and suites and houses with room to spread out.
Rooms, suites and houses
The MICHELIN Guide counts 158 rooms. Guest rooms are designed to feel like a private home, with expansive windows over the skyline; suites add living space; and the houses on the upper floors, including Nara House, come with butler service, a kitchen and dining area, a separate lounge and a private terrace with a plunge pool. Every stay has access to 24-hour in-room dining and a Clefs d'Or concierge.
Pool, spa and fitness
The ninth floor holds a 20-meter saltwater lap pool that runs from indoors to outdoors, with a whirlpool, the 24-hour Technogym fitness studio and G&O, the poolside café. Sense, A Rosewood Spa is on the sixth floor, with treatments rooted in Thai healing, such as a herbal compress massage from eastern Thailand and a jet-lag ritual, plus a hair salon and nail bar. Men's and women's changing rooms both have steam rooms, and the men's also has a sauna.
Culture and families
Beyond the cooking class, the hotel runs a Thai wine pairing dinner with bottles from Khao Yai and Hua Hin, and it works with the Songwat community on guided tours. Children are looked after through the Rose Buds and Rosewood Explorer programs, with kids' menus, child-size robes and baby equipment on request.
Recognition
The MICHELIN Guide gives Rosewood Bangkok Two MICHELIN Keys, and Nan Bei appears in its restaurant selection. The hotel reports that Lennon's ranked No. 7 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026.
Restaurants and bars
The hotel has four venues plus the Xi and Dong private dining rooms, and smart casual dress applies throughout.
Nan Bei, on the 19th floor, cooks Chinese regional food from Canton to Sichuan and Hunan in an Art Deco room under Beijing-born Executive Chef Matthew Geng. The MICHELIN Guide singles out Peking duck roasted over lychee wood and lunchtime dim sum.
Lakorn, the all-day restaurant on the 7th floor, serves Thai dishes from the country's four regions alongside European classics, with a terrace over the city. Chef Pattama Chocklapphon, known as Mama Bua, leads its royal Thai cooking, and the room also serves afternoon tea.
Lennon's, on the 30th floor, is a speakeasy modeled on a home recording studio, with music-inspired cocktails, a cigar lounge and nightly themes such as jazz on Fridays. Entry is for guests aged 20 and over.
G&O is the ninth-floor farm-to-table café by the pool, serving relaxed lunches and brunch built on organic, locally grown ingredients.
