Siam Discovery opened in 1997 as what its owner Siam Piwat calls Thailand's first lifestyle mall, anchored by the Japanese store Loft, and in 2016 it was rebuilt as The Exploratorium, run as one large lifestyle store instead of a row of separate units. Floors are themed as labs, from Her Lab and His Lab for fashion to a Digital Lab and a Play Lab, and the result is a mall that is easy to browse by interest.
