The Sukhothai Bangkok takes its design from the ancient Thai capital of Sukhothai: brick chedis rise out of a reflecting pond, and lotus ponds and courtyard gardens separate the low buildings from South Sathorn Road. The Sukhothai Spa is set in 7,000 square meters of gardens and includes a hammam, Thai treatments using Moringa Project oils, Kerstin Florian and Charme d'Orient rituals, and a Nail Studio in a Thai pavilion. The Fitness Studio has a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi, and trainers teach Muay Thai.

Pets

Pets under 35 kg can stay in the room for a nightly fee, provided they are vaccinated and leashed on hotel grounds. They are not allowed in the restaurants, the health club or the pool area.

La Scala is the Italian restaurant, built around an open kitchen with a terrace by the pool, led by Chef Andrea. On Saturdays it replaces lunch with Sabato Italiano, a long lunch with a rotating trolley and oysters.

Colonnade serves breakfast and, on selected Sundays, a brunch of international, Asian and Japanese dishes and seafood, with tall windows onto the Chedi pond. The Lobby Salons overlook the same pond and serve Thai or Western afternoon tea and a chocolate buffet.

The ZUK Bar is the evening bar for aperitifs and cigars, with an outdoor lounge facing the lotus ponds. Thimian is the hotel bakery and café, and the Pool Terrace Café and Bar serves light meals, health drinks and a full bar by the water.
