The best night markets in Bangkok open now are Jodd Fairs in Ratchada for street food, Asiatique The Riverfront on the Chao Phraya River, the evening food stalls of Yaowarat in Chinatown, and the Train Night Market on Srinagarindra Road for vintage finds. Chatuchak Weekend Market also trades into the evening on weekends, and Pak Khlong Talat, the flower market, never closes. We confirmed each one against official or Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) sources on September 26, 2026.

This guide explains what each market is best for, how to get there by rail or boat, and what to know before you go. Opening hours are given only where an official source publishes them.

Which Bangkok night markets are open in 2026?

The table below lists Bangkok night markets that are operating as of September 2026, with the source we used to confirm each one. Markets that we could not confirm from an official page or TAT, including some that older guides still list, are left out.

What is Jodd Fairs, and where is it?

Jodd Fairs is a Bangkok night market known for street food, and in February 2026 TAT highlighted it for strong international interest, citing around 40,500 monthly searches. As of September 26, 2026, Google Maps lists the market as Jodd Fairs Ratchada, operating at 129 Ratchadaphisek Road in Din Daeng district.

That address is about 200 meters in a straight line from MRT Thailand Cultural Centre station on the Blue Line, measured on map coordinates, so the MRT is the simplest way there. The market does not publish its hours on an official website we could read; its listed official channel is the JoddFairs Facebook page, so check there for current opening days and times before you go. TAT's advice for large markets such as Jodd Fairs is to plan your route in advance and arrive with an appetite.

Asiatique The Riverfront: the riverside night market

Asiatique The Riverfront is a night market and dining complex in converted warehouses on the Chao Phraya River, open every day from 11 a.m. to midnight, according to its official website (checked September 26, 2026). Warehouses 1 and 2 hold restaurants and regional street food vendors, and the 60-meter Asiatique Sky Ferris wheel looks over both banks of the river.

The nicest way to arrive is by boat. Asiatique runs a free shuttle boat from Sathorn Pier, beside BTS Saphan Taksin, from 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., every 25 to 30 minutes. It is the most polished market on this list and the easiest for families; see our Asiatique The Riverfront guide for buses, the Express Boat and what to eat.

Is Chinatown a night market?

Yaowarat Road, the main street of Bangkok's Chinatown, works like a night market: after dark, street food stalls line the road and side lanes. TAT lists Yaowarat among Bangkok's evening street food markets (October 2025), and it is the best choice on this list if eating is the point of your evening.

Take the MRT Blue Line to Wat Mangkon station, named after Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, the Chinese Buddhist temple in the heart of the district. Arrive before dark to see Wat Traimit and its Golden Buddha, then walk to Yaowarat as the stalls set up. Our Bangkok street food guide explains how to order, pay and choose a stall, and our guide to getting to Chinatown by public transport covers the routes.

Train Night Market Srinagarindra: vintage and collectibles

The Train Night Market Srinagarindra, also called Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin, is the market for vintage fashion, antiques and collectibles, as TAT describes it (October 2025). Google Maps lists it as operating at Srinagarindra Road in Prawet district, in eastern Bangkok, as of September 26, 2026.

It is farther out than the other markets, but the MRT Yellow Line helps: Suan Luang Rama IX station is about 550 meters from the market in a straight line, measured on map coordinates. Like Jodd Fairs, it does not publish hours on an official website we could read; check its official Facebook page, taradrodfi, before a special trip.

Does Chatuchak Weekend Market open at night?

Chatuchak Weekend Market is mainly a daytime market, but TAT notes that it extends into the evening on weekends (October 2025). In February 2026, TAT reported that the Travelbag study named Chatuchak the world's leading night market destination, citing more than 15,000 stalls. It trades on Saturdays and Sundays in Chatuchak district, north Bangkok.

Take the MRT to Kamphaeng Phet or Chatuchak Park, and come in the late afternoon if you want the market to carry on into the evening. Read our Chatuchak Weekend Market guide for the layout and practical tips.

Pak Khlong Talat: the market that never closes

Pak Khlong Talat is Bangkok's biggest wholesale and retail flower market, and TAT describes it as open 24 hours, liveliest after midnight when deliveries arrive from around the country (June 2024). It is a short walk from MRT Sanam Chai, in the Old City. It is not a food market, but a late-night walk among the garlands and orchids is one of the most local things to do in Bangkok after dark. See our Pak Khlong Talat guide.

Which night market should you choose?

  • For street food: Yaowarat or Jodd Fairs Ratchada.
  • For a first evening, with river views: Asiatique The Riverfront, by the free shuttle boat.
  • For vintage and collectibles: the Train Night Market Srinagarindra.
  • For shopping on a weekend: Chatuchak, from late afternoon.
  • For something different after midnight: Pak Khlong Talat.

TAT's February 2026 night-market advice is practical: carry enough Thai baht, because cash is still widely preferred; bargain politely where it is appropriate; keep an eye on your belongings; and plan your route in advance at large markets.
