Bangkok's best-known show nights fall into three groups: Muay Thai at Rajadamnern Stadium, two cabaret revues, Calypso and Golden Dome, and the chance to learn a few combinations yourself at a gym. This guide helps you pick between them and book. For the history of the stadiums and how Rajadamnern compares with Lumpinee, read our guide to where to watch Muay Thai in Bangkok; this page adds the weekly card, the ticket options, and the cabaret and class choices.
Schedules, locations and policies below come from each venue's own website, checked on October 3, 2026.
Muay Thai: choose your night at Rajadamnern
Rajadamnern's schedule is built around a weekly rotation, and the card you choose changes the evening. According to the stadium's own pages, Rajadamnern Knockout runs on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays with seven three-round bouts; New Power runs on Wednesdays and Petchyindee on Thursdays, each with eight bouts of five rounds; Kiatpetch runs on Sundays with nine bouts mixing three and five rounds; and Rajadamnern World Series runs on Saturdays with seven three-round bouts. Gates open at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and at 6 p.m. on the other nights, according to the dated schedule on its ticket page.
Pick a Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday if you want the longer, more traditional five-round format, and a Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Saturday for shorter, faster cards. Tickets are sold on the stadium's own site, and Klook sells the stadium's official Muay Thai match ticket. Klook lists a second product, Muay Thai Match in Bangkok, whose page name covers both Rajadamnern and Lumpinee, so read it to see which stadium and nights you are buying. Our Rajadamnern Stadium listing has the venue details.

Fights are not the whole evening. The stadium's ticket page says an immersive show projected onto its dome, which it bills as the largest dome projection in any stadium, begins at 8:10 p.m., and its home page promises a live Muay Thai orchestra. If the opening bouts and rituals matter to you, arrive before the gates have been open long.
Cabaret: Calypso and Golden Dome
Both revues are staged by transgender performers, and both are family-oriented in their own words. They differ mainly in where they are and how late you want to start.
Calypso Cabaret is at 2194 Charoen Krung Road in Bangkok's Asiatique area, on the river. Its website describes lip-sync, impersonations and large dance numbers, its FAQ gives the show length as 50 minutes, and it sells VIP, Premium and Standard seats. Calypso says all ages are welcome, children under three can share a seat at no cost, and wheelchair seating is available on request. It offers no refunds, but a direct booking can be moved to another date. Klook lists the Calypso Cabaret show ticket. The Asiatique mall around it has its own page: Asiatique The Riverfront.

Golden Dome Cabaret is at 252/5 Soi Ratchadaphisek 18 in Huai Khwang, a different part of town from Asiatique. The theater has about 700 seats, and its site lists daily showtimes at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. The show lasts about an hour. It says the show is family-friendly with adult supervision, that photography is not allowed during the performance, that tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, and that free parking is available behind the theater. The site also mentions an optional photo session with the performers after the show, at 100 baht per performer. For public transport, take the MRT to Sutthisan, exit 3, then walk 10 to 15 minutes along Ratchadaphisek Road or take a taxi. Klook lists the Golden Dome Cabaret show ticket.

Muay Thai class: train for an hour
If watching leaves you wanting to try, Watchara Muay Thai Gym at 9 Sukhumvit Soi 1 welcomes beginners and says on its site that all levels are welcome. Klook lists a Muay Thai class at Watchara with join-in and private options; read the product page for the class times and what to bring.

The three venues are in different parts of the city: Rajadamnern is in the Old City, Calypso is on the river at Asiatique, and Golden Dome is in Huai Khwang.
