Location and getting around
The hotel is the centerpiece of Sindhorn Village, a garden development between Soi Ton Son and Soi Langsuan in Lumphini, Pathum Wan, at 80 Soi Ton Son. It is a largely residential part of the city rather than a nightlife or shopping strip, and the park is close enough for a morning walk or run.
The complimentary guest shuttle is the key to getting around. It runs through the day to BTS Chit Lom and Ratchadamri, MRT Si Lom and the Central Chidlom and Central Embassy malls, with separate pick-ups from the Mercury Ville mall into the evening; reserving through the concierge is recommended. Next door along the lane is Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, a useful contrast if you are weighing a calm hotel against a social one.
Rooms and suites
Room size is the headline. The entry-level Grand Deluxe Room is 66 square meters, which the hotel counts among the most spacious in the city; the Grand Premier Room adds a separate living room at 70 square meters, and the Executive Club Room reaches 80 square meters with Executive Lounge access. All three sleep up to four, so many families will not need a suite at all.
Two design details matter in daily use. The building uses triple-layered glass against noise and heat, and older trees from the site were kept and replanted in the Chevaa Garden, so the grounds feel established rather than newly landscaped. Club guests get high tea, evening cocktails and snacks through the day in the lounge, which can replace a meal or two on a long stay.
Sindhorn Wellness by Resense
Wellness is the reason to choose this hotel over its neighbors. The spa builds its thermal journeys on hot and cold contrast bathing and adds hydrotherapy with salt, mud and water, plus specialty treatments. A wellness concierge will draw up a plan by email or phone before you arrive, which helps if you want to fit several sessions into a short stay. Note that the thermal journey is for guests aged 16 and over.
Fitness is a similar scale. Boutique studios, a Pilates studio and a yoga center run classes for guests and members, and the 25-by-7-meter outdoor pool is cantilevered from level 9 over the city, long enough for real laps.
Dining and bars
Six venues cover the day, and all ask for smart casual dress. The MICHELIN Guide includes the hotel in its Bangkok selection without a Key, and none of its restaurants is in the current guide.
- Flourish is the all-day restaurant, with a menu built on Thai and Levantine cooking, from banana blossom salad to stir-fried milkweed flowers.
- Bistrot De La Mer serves the French Riviera at lunch and dinner: fruits de mer, bouillabaisse to share, salade niçoise made at the table and a cheese trolley.
- Ki Izakaya is modeled on the alley bars of Osaka and Tokyo, with yakitori, highballs, sake and six draft beers, and stays open until midnight.
- Firefly Bar is the evening bar, with live jazz, a garden terrace and a Casa del Habano cigar parlor; the hotel says it was ranked in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025.
- Lobby Lounge serves afternoon tea under a vaulted ceiling, with glass walls onto the garden and a vegan set on the menu, and Berthold Delikatessen is a European-style deli and café open to the public.

Families
The Kempinski Kids Club on floor 10 is themed as an underwater world, with coral-reef carpeting, crafts and games about the ocean and sustainability, and staff to supervise, open daily. Combined with rooms that sleep four and a long pool, that makes Sindhorn one of the easier luxury hotels in central Bangkok for families. Kempinski's Lady in Red, the brand's signature host in a crimson dress, handles recommendations and special requests. Who it suits, and the alternatives
Sindhorn Kempinski suits travelers who put wellness and room size first, families who want a kids' club, and business guests who want quiet. It suits less well travelers who want a station at the door, a river view, or a lively rooftop scene.
