Aman Nai Lert Bangkok
About
Aman Nai Lert Bangkok rises from Nai Lert Park, a seven-acre garden enclave off Wireless Road that dates to 1915, and it brings Aman's understated style to the middle of the city. The 36-story tower, designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, holds just 52 suites and 39 private residences.
It suits travelers who want privacy, space and serious wellness facilities more than a busy social scene. The address is central Pathum Wan, yet many suites look out over the park's trees, and the hotel smooths the arrival: every stay includes a limousine transfer from the airport.
Suites
Every room is a suite, and most measure 92 to 99 square meters, with floor-to-ceiling windows over the park or the skyline and, in many, a terrace. Aman's pivoting panel doors let the living and sleeping areas open into one another. The Terrace Suite adds an open-air terrace facing west for sunsets, and the Aman Suite takes the whole 18th floor, with up to three bedrooms, a private spa and a cinema.
Aman Spa and wellness
The 1,500-square-meter wellness center is the hotel's core. The Aman Spa has single and double treatment rooms and a Thai massage room, hydrotherapy with saunas, hot tubs and cold plunge pools, and a three-hour signature journey built around a Royal Thai massage with heated rice compresses. The private Banya Spa House adds a wood-clad sauna where therapists use bundles of oak or birch leaves. Medical Wellness by Hertitude Clinic on the 8th floor offers IV therapy and cryotherapy, and a 24-hour Technogym fitness center, Pilates and movement studios and a 25-meter outdoor pool complete the offer.
Nai Lert Park
The hotel's experiences lean on its setting: a tour of the Nai Lert Park Heritage Home and its antiques and boat museum, Thai flower-garland making, private Thai boxing sessions and an evening tuk-tuk tour of the city's shrines, including the Erawan Shrine.
Recognition
The MICHELIN Guide awards the hotel Two MICHELIN Keys and includes Arva in its Bangkok restaurant selection.
Restaurants and bars
There are seven venues on two floors. Arva, 1872 and The Pool are on the 9th floor; the Aman Club on the 19th holds Hiori, Sesui, the Aman Lounge and the Cigar Bar. Arva and 1872 welcome outside diners with advance reservations. The Aman Club venues are reserved for hotel guests, residents and Aman Club Founders, with a limited number of outside bookings on request, and the Cigar Bar admits only guests, residents and Founders.
Arva is Aman's signature Italian restaurant, cooking seasonal, family-style dishes with local suppliers, backed by a cellar of more than 450 wines and three private dining rooms.
1872 is the all-day restaurant and bar, with Thai and Western dishes, an outdoor terrace over the city and afternoon tea by executive pastry chef Florian Couteau.
Hiori is a teppanyaki counter led by chef Yoji Kitayama, with sakes from Japanese breweries, and Sesui is a sushi omakase room where chef Satoshi Tsuru serves a 19-course sequence using fish from the morning markets and locally grown wasabi.
The Aman Lounge is the sunset bar, with cocktails based on the Japanese five-element philosophy of Godai, izakaya-style bites and live music every night. The Cigar Bar keeps a private humidor, and The Pool serves the 9th-floor pool deck.
