Rooms, suites and villas

The entry rooms start at 61 sqm, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony; the Riverfront Premier rooms sit on levels 5 to 10 for a higher view. Suites add separate living rooms, and the Verandah categories trade height for a riverside terrace, sala and plunge pool. Seven villas stand at the river's edge with private gardens, plunge pools, riverfront daybeds and their own separate pathway, and villa stays include airport transfers, daily breakfast and fast-track arrival. Every guest is assigned a Capella Culturist, a personal assistant who plans outings before arrival and throughout the stay, and check-in happens in the room.

The Living Room

A light-filled, river-facing lounge open only to hotel guests serves as the hotel's cultural program. Mornings start with the day's itinerary and a few Thai phrases; later sessions range from meditation led by a monk from Wat Suthi to Thai flower-garland weaving, Khon dance and traditional Thai instruments, and evenings end with a cocktail ritual on the adjoining terrace. The Culturists also arrange walks through Charoen Krung's cafés and galleries.

Pool, spa and fitness

Auriga Wellness occupies a garden by the river, with seven treatment suites including two for couples, water therapy, a vitality pool and a relaxation lounge. Treatments draw on Thai, Chinese, Indian and European traditions, from Tok Sen hammer massage to Biologique Recherche facials. The riverside infinity pool is kept at 28°C and open around the clock, and the 24-hour fitness center adds classes such as Hatha yoga, tai chi and anti-gravity yoga.

Families

Two-bedroom family suites give parents and children separate rooms without booking two. The Little Stars program greets children with an in-room teepee, child-sized robes and slippers and a schedule of activities such as painting a Khon mask, and babysitting is available on request.

Recognition

The MICHELIN Guide awards Capella Bangkok Three MICHELIN Keys, its highest hotel distinction. In the 2026 Thailand guide, Côte by Mauro Colagreco holds two MICHELIN stars and Phra Nakhon is a listed restaurant. The hotel also reports a No. 2 ranking on The World's 50 Best Hotels 2026.

Restaurants and bars

Reservations for every outlet go through the hotel's own restaurant reservations team.

Côte by Mauro Colagreco cooks the food of the French and Italian Riviera, from Nice to Genoa, under the direction of Mauro Colagreco, in a light-filled second-floor room with river views. It holds two MICHELIN stars, serves lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday, and asks for smart casual dress.

Phra Nakhon is the all-day restaurant, a glass conservatory in the riverside garden serving authentic Thai cooking, plus breakfast. The MICHELIN Guide, which lists it, points to the southern Thai dishes and carefully chosen seafood. Dress is resort casual.

Stella is the evening cocktail bar, an Art Deco room whose current menu reworks Thai ingredients and royal traditions into cocktails, with live music from Wednesday to Sunday.

Tea Lounge serves afternoon tea with a dessert trolley from Executive Pastry Chef Paulo Bairan's team, facing the river and a lily pond, along with a Champagne bottled for the hotel by Vranken Pommery.

KIN is the patisserie boutique beside Phra Nakhon, selling cakes, pastries, Japanese roll cakes and gift boxes, and taking orders for custom cakes.
