Tichuca is a rooftop bar on the 46th floor of the T-One Building off Sukhumvit Road, built as an open-air jungle above the city: planting and vines around the terrace, and at its center a towering bamboo tree that glows after dark. It celebrated its fifth anniversary in December 2025 and remains one of the best-known places in Bangkok to watch the sun go down with a drink.

The tree

The bamboo structure at the center was made by Bamboosaurus Studio, a Thai team that has worked with bamboo for more than seven years on projects from forest bridges to houses on Koh Phangan. In the early evening, light filters through the bamboo and planting; once the sun sets, the tree lights up and becomes the focal point of the terrace.

Drinks and music

The cocktail list leans on tropical flavors and fresh produce, and the bar says it buys fruit, herbs and flowers from local farmers and small producers. Music comes from Marichuca, a collective of resident DJs playing organic house and percussive sets that start slow at sunset and build as the night goes on; the bar posts line-ups on its Instagram.
