Where to buy toys in Bangkok depends on what kind of toy you are after. For mainstream brands, LEGO and Nintendo, the malls around Siam and Ratchaprasong have the most in one place: Toys"R"Us, LEGO Certified Stores and POP MART are all in the malls around BTS Siam and Chit Lom. For collectible figures, go to Mega Plaza Saphan Lek on the edge of Chinatown. For cheap toys in quantity, go to the wholesale lanes of Sampheng.

Siam Paragon: LEGO, Nintendo and a family day out
Siam Paragon's own directory lists a LEGO store and a Nintendo Authorized Store by SYNNEX on the third floor, alongside the Paragon Kids department. The LEGO shop is one of the city's LEGO Certified Stores, run in Thailand by BricksThailand, which also sells online. Kinokuniya's Paragon bookshop lists art toys among its ranges, a quieter place to browse Japanese collectibles.
Paragon also works as a family day out rather than a single errand: SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World fills the mall's two basement floors, and the mall hosts MELAND, a large indoor playground. Families staying at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, directly behind Paragon, can walk in by a covered walkway.
CentralWorld and Siam Square: Toys"R"Us, LEGO and POP MART
CentralWorld, one BTS stop east of Siam near Chit Lom station, has three of the big names under one roof:
- Toys"R"Us, the widest general range, with brands the chain features such as LEGO, Pokemon, Beyblade and Super Mario.
- LEGO Certified Store, listed on the fifth floor.
- POP MART, the Chinese designer-toy brand known for blind-box figures.
POP MART has another shop in Siam Square (Soi 3) and a pop-up at Siam Center, so collectors can visit several in one afternoon. Hotels in the same Ratchaprasong district include Waldorf Astoria Bangkok.
One Bangkok and ICONSIAM: newer malls with big toy stores
One Bangkok, the new district on Rama IV and Wireless Roads, has a Toys"R"Us on the fifth floor of its Parade retail area and a LEGO Certified Store on the second floor, according to their Google Maps listings.
ICONSIAM, on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya, describes its shopping as running from fashion and technology to toys, art toys and collectible artwork. It has a Toys"R"Us on the fifth floor and a POP MART on the seventh. Guests at The Peninsula Bangkok can use the hotel's boats to reach ICONSIAM.
Mega Plaza Saphan Lek: collectibles and figures
For adult collectors, Mega Plaza Saphan Lek, at 900 Maha Chai Road in Phra Nakhon, is the destination. It is a multi-story mall full of toy, figure and hobby shops, about 200 meters in a straight line from MRT Sam Yot. Notable tenants include:
- Neverland Toys & Collectibles, whose online shop carries licensed action figures from makers such as NECA.
- Hot Toys Thailand by Kingdom Come, on the fifth floor (units B556 to 557).
- Smaller collector shops, plus several shops that specialize in squishy toys.
Google Maps lists most shops here as closing by early evening, so plan it as a morning or early-afternoon stop. It combines well with Chinatown and a visit to Wat Traimit.
Sampheng: toys by the pack
Sampheng, the historic market lane of Chinatown (Soi Wanit 1), is Bangkok's wholesale street for gift items, toys and stationery. It is the place for party favors, classroom prizes and small toys in bulk, rather than for a single special present. Google Maps lists many toy wholesalers in the surrounding lanes, such as LEOTOYSTORE on Mangkon Road. The lanes are narrow and busy, and most wholesalers close in the late afternoon.
Chatuchak and Central Ladprao
Chatuchak Weekend Market is a Saturday and Sunday browse for gifts, handmade items and small toys, and Google Maps lists LEGO and toy stalls among its sections. Nearby, Central Ladprao has its own LEGO Certified Store (second floor) and a POP MART, useful if you want something specific after a morning at the market.
Tips for toy shopping in Bangkok
- Buy licensed toys from brand retailers. If a toy carries a licensed character, the chains and certified stores are the safest place to be sure it is genuine.
- Check online first. Toys"R"Us Thailand and BricksThailand both sell online, which helps you confirm a set exists in Thailand before you go. Toys"R"Us also offers Click & Collect.
- Use the rail network. Siam, CentralWorld and One Bangkok are all on or near the BTS; Mega Plaza and Sampheng are reached by the MRT Blue Line.
