Côte by Mauro Colagreco
About
Côte by Mauro Colagreco is the fine-dining restaurant of Capella Bangkok, cooking the food of the French and Italian Riviera, from Nice to Genoa, in a light-filled second-floor room with views of the Chao Phraya. Mauro Colagreco, whose Mirazur on the Riviera was awarded three MICHELIN stars, sets its direction, and Côte holds two MICHELIN stars in the 2026 Thailand guide.
It suits a long lunch or a celebration dinner for diners who want Mediterranean cooking built on seasonal produce, and lunch, with a shorter menu, is the easier way in. The restaurant is inside Capella Bangkok on Charoen Krung Road, in the Yan Nawa area of Sathon, and opens from Wednesday to Sunday.
The kitchen
Italian chef Davide Garavaglia runs the kitchen. He trained under Davide Oldani at D'O in Milan and under Pierre Gagnaire at Sketch in London, joined Mirazur in 2015 and has led Côte since it opened in 2020, winning the MICHELIN Young Chef Award in Thailand in 2023. The MICHELIN Guide notes that the team builds its seasonal menus around the best produce available each day and likes to surprise guests from course to course.
Recognition
Côte earned its second MICHELIN star in the 2025 guide, its first step up since opening, and kept both stars in 2026. The restaurant also lists the MICHELIN Guide Thailand Service Award in 2022 and the MICHELIN Sommelier Award in 2025 for its sommelier, Thansith Wasinonth.
Choosing a menu
Three set menus cover most visits: the four-course Escapade, served at lunch only, the six-course Signature Experience and the eight-course Carte Blanche, both available at lunch and dinner. Wine and non-alcoholic pairings are offered, and a cheese platter can be added. Dress is smart casual, without shorts or flip-flops. For a private occasion, the restaurant hosts gatherings in an intimate space it calls Kitchen Confidential.
Also at Capella Bangkok
The hotel's other venues include Phra Nakhon, its all-day Thai restaurant in a glass conservatory in the riverside garden, which the MICHELIN Guide lists; Stella, an Art Deco cocktail bar; and the Tea Lounge for afternoon tea. The Capella Bangkok listing covers the hotel in full.
