King Power Rangnam is the flagship downtown store of the King Power travel-retail group, and a place in central Bangkok where an outbound traveler can shop duty-free days before reaching the airport. The Thai sections are worth the detour for gifts: Jim Thompson, Mahanakhon, Thai spa brands Panpuri, Harnn and Divana, a Memories of Thailand shop and packaged Thai food. There are also sportswear and gadget counters, a toy section, a Leicester City boutique and a liquor section.

Eating, services and the rest of the complex

Thai Taste Hub, with an express outlet, serves Thai food inside the store, alongside ChaTraMue tea, KOI Thé, QQ Dessert, Eclipse, Starbucks, Peace Oriental Tea House and Beans. A Try and Buy counter on the second floor lets you rent selected products before deciding to buy them. The store also has a Muslim prayer room.
