Rooms

Five room types run from the Superior Room through the Premier and Executive rooms to the Asia Suite and the Family Suite, which add a separate living area. The hotel lists two single beds, a shower with a bathtub, a safe and Wi-Fi in each type, and interconnecting rooms are available, which helps families and groups. A tea and coffee maker and minibar start from the Premier Room.

Restaurants and bar

Amber Asian Casual Dining is the all-day restaurant and stays open 24 hours, useful after a late arrival. Rio Brazilian Fine Grill is a churrascaria serving rodizio courses of grilled meats, open for dinner daily and for lunch on weekends. The Crystal Lobby Bar serves drinks from mid-morning until late, and breakfast is laid out at The Buffet.

Pools and sports

There are two outdoor pools, on the 5th and 12th floors, plus a gym, a tennis court, Let's Relax Spa and the Asia Snooker hall, open until 1 a.m. Pool, gym and tennis hours all start at 7 a.m., so a swim or a game fits in before the day's sightseeing.

Getting there

From Suvarnabhumi Airport, about 32 km away, the hotel puts the trip at around 30 minutes by Airport Rail Link or by car. Once here, the BTS does most of the work. Bangkok Art & Culture Centre and Siam Discovery are each about 0.9 km away, and Saphan Hua Chang Pier is within a five-minute walk.

Before you book

Breakfast is charged separately unless your rate includes it. Ask for an interconnecting pair when you book if you are traveling as a larger family or group, and note that Rio serves lunch on weekends only.
