BKK Social Club is the cocktail bar at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, and one of the Bangkok bars that keeps turning up on the regional rankings: the hotel reports it at No. 20 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 and No. 49 on The World's 50 Best Bars 2025. Its drinks take their cue from Mexico City's drinking culture, filtered through Thai hospitality, under Beverage Manager Philip Bischoff.

It suits a serious cocktail night, a drink before or after dinner on Charoen Krung Road, and cigar smokers, who get a courtyard of their own. The hotel sits on the Chao Phraya in Sathon, a short walk from Saphan Taksin BTS station, so the bar is easy to reach without a hotel booking.

The room

AvroKO designed the bar in the Art Nouveau spirit of early-20th-century Buenos Aires, with a main salon modeled on grand Argentine domestic architecture. Two semi-outdoor courtyards flank it: one is given over to cigars, the other to bottled cocktails and Champagne. Between the salon and the courtyards there are about 140 seats, so it works for a group as well as a pair at the bar.

What to drink

The menu leans on agave, with house signatures built around Mexico City's places, people and spirit alongside reworked classics, craft spirits and a list of rare Champagnes. The cigar selection is part of the offer rather than an afterthought.

What to eat

The food is bar food with a Latin accent, including tacos, ceviche and guacamole, enough for a light supper but not a full dinner.

The team hosts Sálon Social, an annual night that brings acclaimed bars from around the world to the hotel, first held in 2025. After the event, a selection of the guest bars' cocktails has stayed on the menu for a limited time.
