Mezzaluna
About
Mezzaluna is lebua's French restaurant on the 65th floor of State Tower, where Japanese executive chef Ryuki Kawasaki cooks French cuisine through the lens of his own heritage. The name means half moon, the dining room is crescent-shaped, and the restaurant holds two MICHELIN stars in the 2026 Thailand guide.
It suits a milestone dinner for travelers who care most about what is on the plate, though the double-height windows over the city and the Chao Phraya supply the setting. Mezzaluna is one of the restaurants of The Dome at lebua, at the top of lebua at State Tower on Silom Road in Bang Rak, and lebua puts Saphan Taksin BTS station about five minutes' walk from the tower.
The chef and the menu
Kawasaki trained in classic French cooking and joined lebua in 2015 with free creative rein. His answer was to pair French technique with Japanese produce and restraint, and the kitchen serves a single seven-course tasting menu, with a vegetarian version, that changes with the seasons. The current autumn menu runs from Phuket lobster with uni bisque to wagyu from Murakami in Niigata, the chef's home prefecture, served with smoked eel. lebua says Mezzaluna has held two MICHELIN stars in every edition of the Thailand guide.
Table 11
For diners who want to hand over control, Table 11 is a separate five-course experience served without a menu: each ingredient is revealed only when the dish reaches the table. It is booked and priced on its own.
Before you book
Every reservation needs a deposit, which comes off the final bill, and plans can change without charge only up to 72 hours ahead. Children aged 7 and older are welcome with an adult. The dress code is smart elegant: collared shirts and long trousers for men, and no T-shirts, sleeveless tops, shorts or caps for anyone, children included. Leave shopping bags and luggage at the hotel, as the tower has no storage for them.
Also at The Dome at lebua
Sirocco, lebua's open-air Mediterranean restaurant under the golden dome, welcomes children of all ages, so it suits a family dinner in the tower. Chef's Table on the 61st floor is the building's other two-MICHELIN-star French restaurant, set around an open kitchen, and the bars, including Sky Bar, are walk-in only.
