Sirocco
About
Sirocco is the open-air Mediterranean restaurant on the 64th floor of State Tower, the Silom Road skyscraper crowned by lebua's golden dome. It was lebua's first restaurant, and although the tower's upper floors now hold a whole collection of restaurants and bars known as The Dome, Sirocco is still the one most people mean by dinner above Bangkok: tables set outside beneath the dome, with the skyline and the Chao Phraya below.
It suits a milestone dinner, a couple's night out or a first visit that wants the famous view with a proper meal attached. It is an evening place; lebua itself notes the terrace is hot by day and comes into its own at dusk. State Tower is in Bang Rak, and lebua puts Saphan Taksin BTS station roughly five minutes' walk away. Non-hotel guests enter through the main State Tower lobby and take dedicated elevators up.
The kitchen
Executive Chef Brian Rodriguez trained in Piobbico, Italy, at Osteria del Parco and spent five years cooking in Melbourne before Sirocco. His menu draws on the coasts of Italy, Greece and Spain, favors seasonal ingredients and puts taste ahead of elaborate plating. The restaurant calls a charred langoustine, finished Andalusian-style with gold leaf, its quiet showpiece. Diners choose between a chef's tasting menu, an à la carte menu and an oyster and caviar list, with a wine list to match.
Booking an evening
Sirocco requires a reservation, and a deposit secures every booking; it comes off the final bill. Children of all ages are welcome here, which is not true of every venue in the tower. Leave shopping bags and luggage at the hotel, as large bags are not allowed and there is no storage.
Recognition
lebua reports that Sirocco was named World's Best Rooftop Restaurant at the World Culinary Awards in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and that Gambero Rosso awarded it Two Forks in its Top Italian Restaurants guide for 2025 and 2026.
Also at The Dome at lebua
Sky Bar, on the same 64th floor, is the circular open-air bar that appeared in The Hangover Part II. Like every bar in the tower it is walk-in only, so a common plan is dinner at Sirocco and a drink at Sky Bar afterward.
Breeze, on the 52nd floor, serves Chinese cuisine in an open-air setting reached by a sky bridge and needs a reservation. Mezzaluna on the 65th floor and Chef's Table on the 61st are the tower's tasting-menu restaurants.
The walk-in bars are Distil for cocktails, Flûte and Pink Bar for Champagne, lebua No.3 for gin, vodka and caviar, and Alfresco 64 for whisky. The hotel itself is lebua at State Tower.
